well, since they did win the cup, I'll forgive the wings jerseys. because If I had time, I would totally photoshop the entire family in HAbS regalia, the ONLY hockey team worthy of such attire..... (especially on the golf course, which is where they have been most of the series....)

Your Kev sounds like my ex. No concept of how others' expectations are shaped by his declared plans. Today... he had my daughter overnight, called at 11am and said he was on the way over. It takes about 10 mins to get from his place to mine. At 11:30 I started getting nervous. At 11:45 I tried calling him, but oh, wait, none of his phone #s work. At noon I'm positively frantic but tell myself to take a chill pill. At 12:15, just as I have keys in hand, shoes on, and am ready to head out the door, I hear the obnoxious blare of his Mustang from about 1/2 mile away.
Yep, it was him. With my daughter. And his EX GIRLFRIEND FROM BEFORE WE WERE MARRIED. Awesome.
So his excuse is that he had to put my daughter's clothes on. UGH.
I hate that I have to have her spend time with him. On the flipside, she and I spent about 45 mins throwing balls to eachother from the bottom of the stairs to the landing because she was in an awesome mood because she was back with me.
LOVE having her here as much as possible.
Very long story short, the way I function is if someone says they'll be home at x-time, I start to worry at x+15mins. At about x+45 I either get pissed or worried. I hope there's some way for Kev ot realize that other people shape their plans around him. Based on my experience, this is something a man may not grow out of. Best of luck with this, and may you train him in a way that women will appreciate in 6-10 years :)
