I hate to admit this, but I have done exactly te same thing..I don’t even know how I didn’t notice the dark lens was gone.

You are not alone. I just did that the other day. Given, I hadn’t run all your errands… I was only in the car. But I did get some strange looks from other drivers while waiting at lights etc. I felt like something was off, but I didn’t know what it was until I went to take them off and put them away. And then I noticed one lens was missing. Oops. Total Dorkness.
