And here we have Boo watching the chickens. She was obsessed with the chickens at the pig roast on Saturday. I think she would have climbed right in there with them if she could have. I dread the day she makes the connection between cute squawky feathered friends and the nuggets from McDonalds. Not because I’d mind terribly if my kids decided to go vegetarian — I did, after all — but because those are about the only freaking things she will eat with even a teeny bit of nutritional value.

owieBoo has a boo-boo. Seriously, the nickname is starting to be more apt for that reason than any other! On Sunday she fell down the outside stairs at my in-laws and ended up with a nice goose-egg on her forehead to go with the giant red mosquito bite, the scratch on her nose, and the scrapes all over her feet.
